Ticket Forwarding Guide

If you can’t attend a game, you can forward your ticket to someone else through your MyDemons account on the Melbourne FC app or a web browser.

This is a great way to make sure your membership is still used, even if you can’t go.

Important Things to Know:

  • It can take up to 30 minutes after the ticket is accepted (not just sent) for it to become active.

  • Only full season GA and reserved seat/bay tickets can be forwarded.

  • Once a ticket is accepted, it can’t be taken back.

  • Double-check the email or phone number before sending.

  • Don’t send your ticket to people you don’t know — only forward to trusted contacts.

How to Forward a Ticket (Sender – Mobile App):

  1. Open the Melbourne FC app

  2. Tap ‘Mobile Membership’ (bottom center of the screen)

  3. Select the match you want to forward a ticket for

  4. Tap ‘Transfer’ on the ticket

  5. Confirm which ticket(s) to transfer

  6. Choose SMS or Email, then enter the person’s details (we recommend SMS as it is easier to navigate on mobile devices).

  7. Add an optional message and tap ‘Transfer’

How to Accept a Ticket (Receiver):

  1. Open the email or SMS and tap ‘Accept Tickets’

  2. Log into MyDemons, or create an account using the same email/phone number the ticket was sent to

  3. After logging in, your ticket will appear. (If not, go to ‘Mobile Membership’ in the menu)

  4. Add the ticket to your smartphone wallet for quick entry on game day
